hi, do you know if this tire is high volume ? any dimensions of tread/knobs ?
i am looking for all around front xc tire and i am between cross king 2.3 and ardent race 2.35

It's true to its ETRO sizing: http://www.reifenbreiten-datenbank.de/reifen-Continental-Cross King-29x2.30.html. I also have it on my hardtail and can recommend it.

The Crossking gets many recommandations here. I would prefer it over the maxxis. Beneath the Crossking you can also have a look at the Kenda Booster 2.4. I just have purchased it myself for the back but didn’t installed it yet. For the front i took the Regolith 2.4 which has a little bit more aggressive thread but should also roll very good (but not in the means of Marathon or XC Racing). And many people here are very satisfied with the new Wolfpack tires. The Wolpack Race will also soon be available in 2.4.

thanks, what do you think about center knobs that are not in the same horizontal line,
barzo, cross king and racing ray have similar center tread pattern
are these tyres predictable when cornering/braking ?
