Hallo zusammen,
Vielen Dank vorab!
Hallo @METhelmets,
Thanks therefore.very good ventilation
That's not what it is. You have to keep two things in mind:but maybe the oute shell its very soft
I past under one tree in foot and helmet stuck in one branch and make a good scratch and the outside plastic crack it a little bit its very soft ...
It's especially this picture that shows what kind of high energy the branch has exerted on the helmet at this point. Maybe you didn't noticed that just because of wearing this helmet. Please keep that one in mind as well.
The damage isnt from crash!Hey [USER = 315669] @Darksoul [/ USER],
Thanks therefore.
That was one of our most important goals we wanted to realize. In order to get a helmet that has a perfect ventilation - similar to our half-shell helmets like the Roam or the Terranova for example.
That's not what it is. You have to keep two things in mind:
- First one is about the possibility of adequately absorbing the kinetic forces without exposing the rider's head to any risk of injury, ie the helmet must be able to absorb and dissipate the force acting on the helmet.
That's why you think the shell is " very or too soft ".
- Second thing is about the branch and the situation that's lead to the damage shown above. Wood is a strong and sometimes hard material and regarding the length and thickness of that branch (which isn't shown here) it could have an enormous leveraging effect to the helmets outer shell. That's a second - and non less logical - reason why the shell got that deformed.

By the way you have the opportunity to change the helmet via crash replacement. I would recommend that here because the inner structure seems to have been damaged.
Thankful that you haven't been injured during that.
Best, Niels

Vielen Dank
Bernd
