Was sagt ihr zu den neuen XTR PD-M9200 Pedalen von Shimano?

Kleine Info: Die Pedalen gibt es gerade bei Biksport Mantel für knappe 107 Euro. Originalverpackt und mit Cleats. Meine sind gerade mit DPD gekommen..

So also für die, die es interessiert.
An der neuen XTR Pedale hat sie von den Maßen her nicht wirklich was verändert.
Die Auftandshöhe ist ein klein wenig höher und nicht flacher.
Ich wüsste auch nicht, wo man noch hätte sparen können, ohne das es nachher die Funktion beeinträchtigt. Gefahren bin ich sie noch nicht.

Seal issue: There seems to be a slight change/improvement to the machining of the 9200 series axle in comparison to the 9100 and their exploded view shows a slightly raised lip where the seal fits. I presume this is to stop the seal traveling along the axle to the exterior. Whether the later batches of 9100 have already incorporated this change I do not know.

9100 pedals I received as warranty replacement in Q4 of 2024 have the updated axle. The seal does still wander out of the pedal body but does not move beyond the curb on the axle.

I had an earlier pair of 9100 pedals and when I took them apart for maintenance and overfilled them with grease. This pushed out the seals so I had to take them apart again and remove the superfluous grease. I currently have both the 9100 and 9200 pedals with no issues at all with the seals.
