Im Dirt Mag stand:

What about Nathan 'Knievel' Rennie? We'd heard he
rumours, then we got the call...Nathan Rennie crashed his bike whilst trying to do an impression of Evil Knievel And for
any of you out there who are old enogh to remember the
great Evil Knievel, he too crashed his brains out...on many
occasions. Renni was attempting to set the world record
for the longest discante jump on a bicyle in the dust and
heat of Australia's Paintet Desert. The record is held by the
late and great Colin Winkleman, who set the record a few
years ago at 116feet. Rennie did jump 121.2 feet (39.9m)
but landed way down the landing ramp and crashed out,
injuring himself in the process. The people from the Guiness
Book Of World Records were there but said that because
it didn't land it and ride away thad the jump was void. But
taking off a 3m high, 12m long ramp has given Nathan
invaluable information to make further attempts. Here's what he had to say:
"Holding on at 90-plus km/h with one hand on dust
is going to be a sketchy thing no matter what, but I'm really happy with how we went. I think the outcome of jumping 121 feet but crashing is good, because I will be back to try again. I think we can blast 150 feet plus, easily, with the information that I've gained from today, and also the confidence that i've gained as well."

Neuer Rekord
Der australische Worldcup Downhiller Nathan Rennie wagte einen "37 Meter" Tow Jump. Beschleunigt wurde er durch ein Motorrad. Leider überflog er um ein Haar die Landerampe. Der Vorderreifen traf ins Flache und "explodierte". Jetzt ärgert sich Nathan über eine ausgekugelte Schulter,freut sich aber dafür über einen Rekord.

Also noch mal 7 Meter drauf oda was? oda war dat nen Druckfehler?
