I used a clip on wide angle lens for a few shots and didn't align it correctly, which caused some softness and aberrations. Mixture of clips from both the stock Essential camera app and the ported Google Pixel 2 camera app.

The Essential app is pretty unreliable for video. There were several occasions were the app wouldn't save the clip. It also has trouble self adjusting audio gain. I would definitely recommend using the Pixel 2 app if you're using this phone.
