Sorry for writing English. I can read German without problems, but writing it is something else

I have plans for my ultimate Cyclocross bike, but some parts are still a problem. I am looking for the lightest rims (Felgen) and tires (Reifen). Also, which of the parts listed below are not suitable for cycloscross (to light/ to weak) and are better changed for which parts? (suggestions please). Is the Schmolke Prügel/Spurtstark Carbon handlebar (lenker) strong enough for cyclocross? :

Ich würde für ein Crossrad Standardkomponenten verwenden.

Auf teure Felgen b.z.w eine teure Schaltung würde ich verzichten. Eine gefederte Gabel oder eine gute gefederte Sattelstütze machen aber Sinn.
Und die "EggBeater" die Du Dir ausgeguckt hast sind auch sehr zu empfehlen!

Gewicht ist nicht alles!

Thus, basically I should mix up parts from both my plans to get a light yet strong bike. Thanks for the advice "Graf"! Must say that I am not a big fan of suspention forks and/or seatposts on a cyclocross bike. I prefer the extra speed of a rigid construction over comfort. After all its just a one hour ride!

Who's got experience with (comments about) the use of the Spooky singlespeed setup? I picked it because I noticed that I hardly use gears outside the 42t front - 11.-23t. rear range, but I don't know from personal use if the single setup works fine.

Also, any comments on the Kinesis cyclocross frame? 135.00 Euros for a 7005 alu frame is a bargain, but is it good?

Yep, thats IBS under their new name. They have a webaddress but its not linked to a website (I checked several times over the last months)

I've heared conflicting stories about IBS/Advance quality. Anybody here who uses (or used) IBS/Advance stuff and likes to comment?

ein paar Anmerkungne zu Deiner Reifenwahl

Schwalbe CX pro 295g
schoen leicht, muss mit hoeherem Luftdruck gefahren werden
=> in Kurven manchmal zickig
verwende ich taeglich auf meinem "Arbeitspferd"

Michelin Cyclo Cross Jet
wenn es richtig dreckig
wird Michelin Cyclo Cross Mud
die Kombination front: JET, rear: MUD ist auch nicht schlecht

und natuerlich Tufo (gibt es bei Oliver www.occp.de)
habe ich aber nicht - sollen aber sehr gut sein?

ach-ja Seatpost

Fast haette ich eine Tune (Carbone "Starkes Stueck") gekauft aber die war mir fuer die harten CX Anforderungen dann doch zu edel/ teuer. Weitere Sattelstuetzen in der Auswahl waren: Colorado (175g 89,90 Euro bei www.occp.de) und natuerlich Ritchey.

Meine Wahl fiel dann auf eine Ritcheys - schon wegen der schoen glaenzenden Klemmvorrichtung, ein Blickfang fuer alle die an meinem Hinterrad kleben ... kommt selten genug vor ...
