lyrik charger 2.1 in zeb

hello everyone, I have charger 2.1 rc2 damper laying around and I'm wondering what is difference between Zeb and lyrik charger damper. AFAIK it's only length and different top cap.
So my plan is to buy zeb push hc97 compression upgrade, fit it to my lyrik charger damper and use it in zeb.
It's 170mm, 29" zeb.
any thoughts about It?

It's likely to not work, because axle to crown length is different between Zeb and old Lyrik. Also, stanchion length and thus lower leg length may be different.

See here for axle to crown length, Zeb has 5mm more like for like.

Actually, the older Lyrik with Charger 2.1 supports up to 180mm of travel. I can't comment on the other aspects, just wanted to leave this note ;-)

I know, that's only 10mm shorter than Zeb's damper, that's exactly why I think it may work

Isnt the bigger problem, that the topcap threads for the 35 mm lyrik stanchions wont fit the 38 mm zeb ones?

No. Because the compression assembly was meant to be swapped for a Zeb one.
