OCTOBER 31, 2003 -- LAGUNA BEACH, CA (BRAIN)--Crank Brothers is offering a total of $10,000 to cyclocross racers that make it onto a UCI podium while using the company's Egg Beater pedals.
Any elite racer who gets first through third in any of the 25 UCI cyclocross races this season will be awarded a portion of the $10,000 purse. Of the first eleven UCI races thus far, elite racers on Crank Brothers pedals have taken 31 out of 66 possible top three finishes.
USCF licensed elite level cyclocross racers also are invited to participate, so long as they race on Crank Brothers' Candy or Egg Beater pedals, and are on them when the podium placement occurs.
