Hi everyone,
Apologies for using English, I don't speak German, but I can assure you I did my best to go through the threads with Google Translate/GPT before posting here. I'd appreciate your insights and help, considering that I live in a country where I cannot try the bikes and I have to order this one based on my research.
Namely, I'm struggling to decide on the right size for the One55 SLX. I'm 184.5cm tall with 85 inseam (my arm span is 186.8cm if that accounts for something). I know that everything points out to being L, however today I drove to a neighboring country (for 3 hours), to a place that has the bike in L and XL, and sitting on them both made me even more confused than I already am. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try the bikes (they had no pedals) and I was only allowed to sit which I'm not sure helped much.
The L felt kinda "at home", but then I asked the guy who worked there to take a picture and it suddenly looked very small on me.
The XL - definitely more stretched and a bit weird, but I definitely could see myself riding that one too. The problem is that I was not able to actually sit on them properly, nor stand up on them, so I was hoping I could hear from someone in a similar situation and that would help me choose.
@pimpelmoser - you mentioned riding an L and you seem to be taller with me, with a longer inseam. Is the bike comfortable for you? Is it stable at high speed? I feel that the L could work very well for me if it works for you. I come from a Ghost Nirvana Essential hardtail in L which was a bit short, but I fixed that with a dropper with offset and pushing the seat way back. The reach on the Cube in L (475mm) seems kinda logical compared to 502mm in XL.
Once again, apologies for the inconvenience regarding the language, and thanks in advance for all your help!
