ich glaub zwar ich hab das vorgängermodell (farbe rot, blau), aber die geometrie sollte gleich sein. es war eine 100 mm gabel dranne....

der Rahmen wurde für eine 100 mm Gabel gebaut!
Wichtig, für daan nur pink.
BITTE ÜBERPRÜFE DEINEN RAHMEN HINSICHTLICH DER UNTEN STEHENDEN MAIL. DEIN RAHMEN IST EVENTUELL VON EINER RÜCKRUFAKTION BETROFFEN!
Bitte check die Länge deines Steuerrohres, wenn dieses 80 mm hat - Fahrrad abstellen und einschicken. Du bekommst dann einen neuen Rahmen.

VOLUNTARY RECALL NOTICE
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Marin Mountain Bikes of Novato, CA is voluntarily recalling 1038 11.5 inch aluminum Marin brand mountain bikes. The U.S. CPSC will monitor this recall in the US for effectiveness.The steertube (headtube) on the front of the frame can break off from the two main tubes of the frame which could cause an injury while riding the bicycle. Marin has received two reports of injuries involving these recalled frames.
This recall involves all 11.5 inch aluminum Marin brand mountain bikes sold from August 1998 through July 12, 2002. The specific 11.5 inch models included are the Bobcat Trail, Hawk Hill, Palisades Trail, Pioneer Trail, Nail Trail, Stinson and Rocky Ridge. Also included is the 13.5 inch aluminum Quake model. These bikes were sold through independent bicycle retailers. The suggested retail price was from $280.00 to $900.00.
In determining the size of the frame (noted above) consumers should measure from the center of the crank arms (see illustration, item 1) to approximately 1 inch below the seatpost clamp (see illustration, item 2). Consumers should also make sure that their frame is aluminum by locating the sticker on the front of the seatube (see illustration, item 3) and verifying that it says ìaluminumî or ìalloyî on the sticker.

Natürlich nicht ! Ist doch nach wie vor ein Marin Rahmen.

zum glück. also wenn ich das etz richtig raus gelesen hab dann gilt die rückruf aktion nur für die größe 11,5. dann bin ich nicht betroffen. freu!

also ich bin den quake 5.0 mit maximal 140 mm FW in der göße 13.5 zoll als 4x bike gefahren... (mit ner pike) oder mit ner shiver gabel (120mm)
ansonsten als tourer und stadtrad mit 100 bzw 80mm in der Größe 15 zoll (Recon)
an meinem 13,5zoll quake 7.0 (gleiche Geometrie wie das 5.0er) auch ne zeitlang pik und jetzt ne reba mit 100mm
