Na,so oldschool ist es auch wieder nicht. Diese Geo hatten die meisten Räder bis vor 2 Jahren..und auch etliche Hersteller haben heute noch diese Werte.
Nicht jeder mag den Trend zu lang und flach mitgehen.

Die meisten XC Fullies hatten vor 2 Jahren noch 70.3° Lenkwinkel (zum Beispiel)?
Welche waren das denn?

Die großen Hersteller sind aber auch bekanntlich keine Innovationsschmieden, sondern verkaufen gewinnmaximiert nur das was sich schon lange bewährt hat. N Golf wird ja auch kaum mehr verändert.
Das Fuel kannste übrigens auch mit 69° fahren & das seit 2016 Zumal ja der LW nicht alles ist. Ich finde das RDR in Summe auch sehr outdated.
Ich würde heutzutage kein bike mehr mit so einer altbackenen Geo kaufen (aus Erfahrung, ich liebe etwas flachere LW, längeren Reach, steilere SW usw).
Ist alles natürlich nur Geschmackssache & letztlich muss das Bike & der Aufbau nur dem TE zusagen.

Do not forget guys, head angle should be accorded to fork rake..

Fast Trak 2"3 s-works 120 tpi 595g (weight from manufacturer).
11g less than planned,


Renegade 2"1 s-works 120tpi 511g (weight from manufacturer)
13g over the claimed weight.

I just got the x313 carbon, a little overweight but still 100g less then a standard R414.



Let's get rid of this RS Maxle,



and replace it with a shiny axle from Hardlite.

Really like the Garbaruk cassette. I ride it on my bike as well. Unfortunately the real weight is higher than indicated.
In my case, there is just a difference of 9g between the XX1 Eagle Gold and the Garbaruk :/

Dito! Nicht jeder findet so eine bergablastige flache Geo geil. Ich komme auch mit 70° den Berg runter.... und erfreue mich an der herzhaften Agilität mit ordentlich Druck auf dem Vorderrad.

the 16T flexes a little bit in hand, looks like I will have to take extra care for the first rides, it will look stunning in pictures, let's see how it behaves IRL.

There is a reason that Garbaruk make their matching cages. It does not look shitty and it does not affect quality of shifting once one of these is mounted. The way these pulleys are mounted now it’s only a matter of time for a thrown off chain. That is it.
