Specialized Gravity Team 2016: Gravity Republic zieht zu Specialized

Der Weltmeister auf Specialized Bikes: Loic Bruni und die weiteren Fahrer der Gravity Republic werden in der kommenden Saison auf dem S-Works Demo unterwegs sein. Nach dem Abgang von Aaron Gwin hat Specialized ein schlagkräftiges Team für die kommende Saison zusammengestellt und sich mit der Pure Agency zusammengetan: Die Pure Agency-Fahrer Loic Bruni, Loris Vergier und der jungen Nachwuchsfahrer Finn Iles, durch seinen spektakulären Whip-Sieg bei den Crankworx Whip Off Worlds bekannt, werden das neue Specialized Gravity Team formen. Troy Brosnan wird weiterhin für das Specialized Racing Factory Team unterwegs sein.

Es gibt derzeit max. 10 junge DH-Talente, die in den nächsten Jahren Top-Resultate fahren werden. Drei davon stehen jetzt auf einem Demo. Faktisch der Sponsor mit dem jüngsten Team. Also warum das Talente-Gejammer???

So von wegen besser junge Talente verpflichten, was ist denn Finn? Und auch die anderen beiden sind alles andere als alte Säcke, die schon alles erreicht haben...

Allgemein bekommt man schon etwas den Eindruck, dass manche immer was zu mosern haben, wenns um Speci geht...

Eben, Speci hat damit zwei Teams mit einem sehr jungen Kader, und das alles im Tausch mit einem Gwin, sehr cleverer Zug also.
Als Speci Fanboy tat ich mich schwer Bruni nicht und Gwin zu mögen, jetzt passt alles ; )

Wie und mit wem Canyon jetzt da steht wäre interessant, die Frenchies konnten sie ja offensichtlich nicht überzeugen. Zitat "When the boys tested the bike, it confirmed everything."

Ich lache mich schlapp..., Bayern München hat jahrelang die Bundesliga leergekauft und macht das teilweise immernoch und du schreibst was von "aufbauen" ;-)
Um das Fussballthema nicht zu sehr aufzegreifen aber Bayern mit Real und co zu vergleichen ist für mich wie die Wahl zwischen Pest oder Cholera ;-).

Hehe, genau das dachte ich mir auch Die haben sogar gekauft was sie nicht brauchten, nur damits die Anderen nicht haben.

Stimmt. Ist ja bloss der aktuelle Weltmeister. Zudem jung, sympathisch, sehr talentiert und ein Versprechen für die Zukunft. Und im Paket mit zwei vielversprechenden jungen Fahrern.

evtl habe ich bei dir die Ironie verpasst,aber lese nochmal nach

Sie haben dieses mal jemanden genommen der über die 2015er Saison nach Punkten gesehen nicht der Beste war,ihr Ego wird nun mit der zweiten Wahl noch eine Weile zu knabbern haben .

WCs hat Bruni bisher nie gewonnen, Hill und Gwin jedoch mehrmals, bei Hill gab es vor Specialized schon 4 WM-Titel+ 1xWC, und bei Gwin waren es 3 WC-Titel....

Medial haben Hill und Gwin vor ihrem Gang zu Specialized gefühlt auch immer mehr Aufmerksamkeit bekommen als nun Bruni in 2015.


Edit: 2012 konnte Bruni einen Junior-WC-Overall für sich verbuchen.

My step uncle's best friend was in Adelaide last week and saw Loic and Loris hanging with Troy. He spoke to them and got the following info out of them.
- The frenchies have their own team with Finn. Title sponsor is Spesh but only for shoes and clothing (still 100% for helmet/goggles). They will be riding on a Canyon designed frame, but it's welded together in the NS Bikes factory because they don't trust Canyon.

- As for Troy. He explained that he is not the only rider on the factory team, hinting that it wasn't Ropelato to come back but intact another dominating enduro racer to follow the yeti - spesh switch infinity. The new bike they have coming is top secret - part carbon, part titanium, part alloy. The best of strength, weight and good looks. Chain stays are TI to make a cool noise when the chain slaps. Down tube is alloy to protect from rocks without having to waste money on a rubber protector which is needed for carbon. The set tube will be made of carbon to give a slight bit of flex when sitting down, just for comfort reasons. All parts of the bike will be bonded together with duct tape. This frame will not be built around the ohlins, but instead the new Push Industries Eleven Six. This process of the new frame will cut manufacturing costs so they can increase the RRP to double the current Demo. Makes sense right?!

- Graves admitted that he and Spesh are already in the process of a new enduro that involves the switch infinity design - it will be based around the rear axle.

- Gwin is said to be on the new demo frame but under 23 and Martin Whitley. The 23 team will all be on whatever frame they like but have to run ohlins forks, x fusion shock, rim brakes, motocross tires supplied by KTM so that they won't come off, 3x9 gearing, an 540mm bars. Gwin's salary is $1,475,000 for the first season, set to rise if he gets some good results.

- Richie Rude. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to say just yet. Ill leave it with the hint above.

- Connor Fearon is ditching Kona after all the years to pursue his dreams in bobsled. Said to be joining the Jamaican team.

This is all the inside info that my step uncle's best friend was able to get out of TB, LB and LV. Trust me on this.

weilsn top fahrer ist und er gefälligst auf Kona gewinnen soll.
zumal die den ja quasi von "klein" auf unterstützt haben. er bleibt aber noch mindestens 2jahre bei Kona.

ja, aber Specialized hätte ja locker noch mal zwei Fahrer (eigentlich einen) aufnehmen können.

@lulu1818 Wenn du einkaufst, bist du halt immer der zweite.

Das macht ja nichts solange man die Leute zu ihrer besten Zeit hat. Wenn man das Geld hat kann man ruhig die Ausbildung und das Ausklingen der Karriere anderen überlassen.
