Wo steckt eigentlich Gary Turner?

Hallo Forum,

habe schon recht genau bei google nach Gary Turner gesucht. Nichts. Vor Jahren habe ich mal eine Webseite gesehen, die Titan Bikes von ihm zeigt. Der sitzt wohl irgendwo im Wald und schweißt an Titan rum. Leider finde ich das alles nicht mehr.

Kann wer weiter helfen?

Ich hab auch mal bissl nach ihm gesucht.
Er hat anscheinend lange Dragstar in der NHRA-Klasse gebaut.
Und baut jetzt eher Offroad-Fahrzeuge - aber nur noch so zum Spaß. (hab ich jetzt auf zwei Seiten so gelesen)

Gary is doing fine. I run into him from time to time and he still shows up at interbike to say hello to old friends.
These days he built up a desert racing Truck for his son Craig to race. My buddy was co-driving with him for quite a while I'm not sure what class he competes in, but it's a top of the line set up in the SCORE series I think.
During and after GT he campained top alcohol dragsters in the NHRA and had Cruz Pedregon as his driver for a time. His team even won the NHRA top alcohol championship one year.
He was also building custom beach cruisers for a while under Turner custom cruisers brand and also built some bmx bikes with Mike Devitt for a short period as well.
It's hard to believe Richard has been gone now for 14 years. That was brutal. He was killed while riding his brand new Honda motorcycle that he just got on the way up to big bear for a mountain bike race. I always wonder what GT would be like today if Richard was still around. I figure if Richard was still there, I would probably still be working there as well.
