Reach wird wohl leider nicht länger werden. Da hatte ich Keith auch mal per Mail gefragt.
Hier seine Antwort:
When considering reach it is very important to also consider stack height. Our frame have more stack height than most, so actually feel bigger for given reach numbers, as less spacers under stem are required (each one reduces real reach).
Reach numbers got very long, too long (easy marketing, to say longer is better). We are seeing nearly all brands reduce them again as their pro riders start riding smaller sized frames (jack Moir on Canyon is a good example, he preferred their medium frame despite being 6'4").
I tested the long reach fad, and honestly hated it for everything except climbing. I'm 6'2" and ride a large phantom with 60mm stem which fits me really well and works well on my local trails which are fairly tight and twisty.
