Ist das ernst gemeint?@_Macke_
Das ist ja irre.
Damit fährst du vermutlich, neben einer Handvoll Prototypen, das einzige Alu+Carbon Capra MKII weltweit.
Jop.
Oder was würdet Ihr machen bzw. was glaubt Ihr is besser?

(Sorry for writing in English, my German writing sucks, but I can read it fine)
Hey guys, not a broken chainstay yet, but I think there's something very wrong with my frame/rocker link connection, which is related to the chain stay. In short, the stops for the bearings on the axle are set wider apart than the stops for the bearings in the frame. So with one bearing fully seated, the other sits unsupported, and the rocker is offset to one side. YT wants me to send in the frame. I'm hesitant, as I've done so before and I was without bike for 8 months, and their answers to emails are sometimes like talking to a bot. On the other hand, this situation can't be good with handling sideways forces on the frame. Anyone else having this issue? See this drawing and pic of left/right side:
Haha, I was thinking of putting washers in the frame to fill up the gap, or else just hitting it with a hammer really hard. In all seriousness though, YT have explicitly confirmed to me they had Capra main frames and rear triangles all in stock and ready to go. Of course they also had their standard blabla of should it turn out not to be warranty after their 'expert inspection', I need to pay for everything. But also telling me I absolutely needed to send it in. They're just constantly covering their asses, really annoying.Hey Booz,
no problem, international YT bashing
To be honest, the only thing what i can think of is to shorten the axle with a cutting disc
Problem then will be the warranty... Option #2: wait until "winter" and send it to YT.
Hope you get your problem solved.
Cheers to XXX

So anyway, I've shipped the frame back to them yesterday, naive maybe, hoping they've changed their ways. At least I have another bike as well. We'll see how good their word is these days. Fingers crossed.

Danke.
Gruss,
So, YT have gotten back to me after their inspection. They're saying this is the way it's meant to be, the axle is 'self centering', and apparently the bearings not 100% pressed in the way it should be. Funny then they couldn't tell me that via email and I had to send it in. Or it's bullshit. Anyway, I'm done with them.(Sorry for writing in English, my German writing sucks, but I can read it fine)
