Beim Epic 8 S-Worksrahmenset steht geschrieben: "Optimized for wireless drivetrain and seatpost".

Das bedeutet wohl, dass nur AXS-Komponenten beim Antrieb und bei der Sattelstütze möglich sind, oder?

Die E-Federung passt da genau so rein, ist ja der gleiche Rahmen wie beim Komplettbike. Es wurde einfach die günstigere Gabel und Dämpfer verbaut. Rechfertig deswegen auch nicht den hohen Preis…

Beim Pro-Modell und den darunter angesiedelten Modellen gibt es Öffnungen am Rahmen im Bereich des Steuerrohrs für die Leitungen. Diese Öffnungen hat der S-Worksrahmen nicht und ich kann mir vorstellen, dass es mit der Leitung für Schaltung, Hinterradbremse und Dropper ziemlich eng werden könnte, wenn die auch noch alle durch das Steuerrohr geführt werden sollen.

Fahre das neue S-WORKS Epic WC und da hat es mehrere Öffnungen. Kanst ja sonst auch die Aufbauanleitung von der Spezi Webseit downloaden, da wird das sicher zu sehen sein.

Are you sure? On the S-Works complete bike, only the rear brake cable goes through the head tube. On the Pro model and the models below, there are openings on the frame near the head tube for the cables. The S-Works frame does not have these openings and I can imagine that it could be quite tight with the cables for the gears, rear brake and dropper if they all have to be routed through the head tube.

You can use Jagwire 3mm dropper post housing with their 0.8mm cable. I currently have that for the dropper and rear shock remote on a Scott Spark RC with through the head tube routing. I am tempted to replace the gear cable/housing also when the time eventually comes. So 3 cables and brake hose are no problem.

Wenn ich mir das PDF vom Specialized Epic 8 S-works Rahmen anschaue, durch den Steuersatz einmal Bremse einmal Dämpfer.
Ich gehe davon aus das eine Dropper mit Kabel nicht vorgesehen ist. Wahrscheinlich eine mit Funk.

Genau: dort wird auch gesagt, dass nur eine kabellose Dropper möglich ist.

They are incorrect in that. It just means dropping another cable through the headset to the dropper. If you look there are two spaces either side of the headset insert (and as the drawing also shows). In their build they are not maximising that space. They admitted that they were wrong at the end about not being able to utilise a gear cable after they found the outlet on rear drive stay lol.

Ok wenn ich das so lese kann mann doch noch eine Ausenhülle für eine Dropper durch den Steuersatz verlegen. Aber wenn ich sehe wie eng du da die Züge verlegen musst, kann ich mir nicht vorstellen das das eine saubere Lösung ist. Kleine Radien hohe Zugkraft. Bei meinem aktuellen Spark das ich zur Zeit fahre ist das schon nicht einfach gewesen ,eine saubere Lösung zu finden. Und beim Epic wird das noch enger.

OK, when I read it like that, you can still route an outer casing for a dropper through the headset. But when I see how closely you have to route the cables, I can't imagine that this is a clean solution. Small radii, high pulling force. With my current Spark, which I'm currently riding, it wasn't easy to find a clean solution. And with the Epic it will be even tighter.

I have a Spark RC and found the cable routing pretty easy, especially after I had done it once and the fact that it has the shock cover that once removed gives good access to route the dropper cable. I have also replaced the Twinlock lever with the Rockshox Ultimate Twistloc/Shimano dropper lever.

Weiß hier zufällig jemand warum das Control SL Cockpit seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit nirgendwo lieferbar ist?

Bei Speci selbst und allen großen Shops sind die Cockpits seit Monaten nicht lieferbar. Bin am überlegen die 70 mm zu verbauen - gibts halt nirgendwo.

Gruppenrein. . Sieht schon ganz gut aus das Teil. Und auch relativ leicht.

Wollte doch bloß wissen ob bekannt ist warum das Cockpit nicht lieferbar ist und nicht was schön und nicht schön ist .

Die bestellen halt 1.000 Stück oder mehr oder weniger von jedem in China und verkaufen bis es alle ist. Und wenn dann irgendwann alles alle ist bestellen sie wieder eine Charge nach oder auch nicht.

Trotz Limitierung nach wie vor lieferbar. Wenn man sich überlegt, wie viel Rauch (um fast nichts) hier um diesen LRS gemacht worden ist...
