Large, Marsred, Ultimate Deluxe Coil, RS Yari, LEV Si 150, Sram Code, Hans Dampf/MM, DMR Vault Pedale, Ergon SM Sattel.

Hi!I’m posting in English and from the States. I will do my best to make this translator friendly.
I am looking at a new ride. Currently I have a 2018 Guerrilla Gravity Trail Pistola (AU frame) setup that I have made a few tweaks to. The rear at 130mm with a older Push 11-6 (more on this later). Front is at 150mm with an MRP Ribbon Air. The bike is around 33lbs (14.9kg) as it sits. Overall I like the bike, but I would like some component upgrades and hence here I am.
I am normally a size large. I’m 6-2 (188cm) with a 34in (86cm) inseam. I have a slightly shorter mid-section and find a reach around 470mm-475mm feels best. The reach is normally how I pick a bike size. I ride in the Front Range around Denver, CO. I also ride a lot around Crested Butte and Fruita, CO. Denver riding a 130/140mm bike is perfect, however in CB 150/160mm is the sweet spot. I ride techie climbs, chunk, fast/flow and may leave the ground but only slightly. I do not do bike parks or lift access. My average ride is 10-15+ miles (16-24+ km) and 1500-2500+ ft (457-762+ meters) of vertical. The best way I can describe the bike I want is something towards enduro, but an enduro bike that will never see a chairlift or race.
The current top to bikes on my list are the Canyon Specoral 8 (not really on list, but can not discount it), Orbea Occam LT M10 and the Propain Tyee Highend/Performance. I also like the WeAreOne Arrival, but the price tag for the components I like is not something I am comfortable spending and they are sold out.
I’m familiar with Canyon. My girlfriend has a road bike from them and is going to get a Grizzle gravel when they have stock. She’s also used the crash replacement on her current road bike. Overall a good experience. The Spectral 8 seems to be a good bike.
The Propain Tyee Highend build comes with Fox 36 and X2 both Factory, X01 drivetrain, Magura MT7 breaks. I do worry about getting Magura break pads here in the States. Not a lot of shops carry them. There isn’t really anything I would change on the build other than adding an MRP Ramp Control. The cost is 7k USD.
The Tyee Performance build is RockShox Lyrik Ultimate and Super Deluxe, X01 drivetrain, Code RSC breaks. Again nothing here I would change and everyone has SRAM break pads. The cost is 1100 USD less, too. The Tyee Performance is 5900 USD in the States. There is no configuration option for me. I can only pick the frame color and decal color. The build configuration is fixed. This is the bike I’m almost ready to buy.
The Occam LT M10 is full XT, but comes with a coil I am not thrilled about. I would ride the DHX to see if I like it. For the cost, I could easily replace it. Overall they are kind of hard to get in the States. There a few shops that might get some in and they want a non refundable deposit to hold the bike. I’ve heard good things about Orbea post sale, but I do not have any experience with them. In the States the Occam LT M10 is $6300 USD. Just like Propain, there is no real configuration option here in the States.
All the bikes are billed as an ‘all around bike’ in some fashion. The bikes lean towards the decent over the climb, but claim to climb very well. I found the Tyee’s anti-squat numbers are around 110%. That should give the Tyee a good climbing platform for the size. The anti-squat on the Occam is around 120%. That could mean better climbing.
Has anyone ridden both or either bikes and can provide their thoughts?
Has anyone setup the Super Deluxe lightweight (68kg with full kit) rider on the Tyee? All the adjustments on the Fox X2 and 36 do make me nervous.
Anyone have post sale experience with Propain?
Thank you all for reading and any feedback.
