Just a couple of points as Google translate is not the best The 1994 FAT Ti frames are the most desirable as they dont have the BB sleeve. IROBOT on Fatcogs has said the 94 Ti is the pinnacle of his welding ability. The 92-93Ti frames are slightly stiffer due to the BB sleeve and gusset support at the headtube but had a slightly higher failure rate. They are still amazing to ride and beautiful. Some people prefer the welding on them.
I have never heard of a 94 Ti frame failure. These Ti frames were at the ‘cutting edge‘ of Ti frame development at the time. The FIRST Ti bicycles ever to use hand lathed double butted tubes. Even today many Ti frame makes dont use butted Ti tubes. The welds were always ‘first pass welds’ not the double pass welds of Merlin etc. It is much harder and more skillful to make first pass welds look as good as they do
The welds on the new FAT Ti do look like ‘first pass’ welds. They bike looks amazing imo and they have SOUL, born from many hard years of experimentation from way back in the mid 80s with Gary Helfrich. I own 2x 94 Ti & a 97 Ti ( sold my 93 Ti ) and hopefully will own one of these one day. Chinese mass produced clone bikes are not for me. Its clear people on FB are very impressed by the new Ti frames
