Noch mehr B+ aus England: (Quelle)
But rather it’s the as yet unnamed 27.5+ (or B+ if you prefer) 120mm travel adjusted prototype hardtail that’s arrived just in time for the show.

Hello future
The hardtail is long, low and slack-ish with a 68° head angle, and it’s designed to fit 3″ rims and tyres. There’s routing for a stealth dropper, and the bike can be run either with either a one by or two by drivetrain. It’s compatible with
Shimano’s new side swing front derailleur.

148×12 rear hub

Boost 148 rear end
First of the new standards can be found at the back of the bike; the frame has Boost 148 hub spacing. Remember when
Trek introduced this last year ‘for 29ers’? The prototype is kitted out with 11 speed XTR, production bikes will probably be specced at two levels, with either Deore or XT.

Boost 110 out front
The fork is Boost 110 compatible; that’s a 15mm x 110 front hub in there. Although this has a rigid fork, expect to see suspension forks starting to appear with this spacing in the near future too.

27.5 +
Maxxis Chronicles?
Tyres on the bike appear to be a 27.5+ version of the
Maxxis Chronicle, which so far we’ve only seen in 29er guise.

Plenty of cushion

Space to go bigger?
There’s still plenty of space around the chubby tyres though, will we see wider in the future? Who knows. To accomodate the wide back end the BB shell is 83mm pressfit to allow plenty of welding contact for the chainstays.

Neat headtube

First of many?
