Hi Thomas,
On the higher spring rates the Fox shocks do not have enough clearance
between the shock body and reservoir. If you search online you will find
"How to's" on using a Ti spring with a fox DHX. Pretty much the blue volume
control knob will need to be removed. Also to prevent the spring from
moving, if you can get an o-ring on the preload color between the collar and
the spring, it will remove the play. Some riders also use rubber bands,
and some riders donât use anything...its up to you. If you donât want to do
this mod, let me know and I can return the spring for you. Sorry for the
inconvenience, its just that Fox has made it very difficult for riders to
use Ti springs with their shocks. Attached is a photo of the modification.
