Hi Germans and Euro Browsers, I'd like to say hello to you all and answer a couple of queries.

First of all a Happy new year to all especially Ferrous owners and soon to be owners.

I've had a couple of questions regarding fit and tubing, and other frame building stuff.

The sizing thing is something that I've been interested in for years and have worked on in the trade after seeing or often talking to a rider I know roughly what will work for them or not, and from then it's a case of fine tuning through conversation.

In a lot of cases it is merely fine tuning as a custom frame is often an investment so the rider will have a good idea of what they want and then I tune how I see fit although at the end of the day I do only suggest it's the rider that decides.

I would be devastated about a custmer not being happy about fit or handling as the discussion process takes some time and involves a great deal of careful explanation of what effect varying adjustments will have essentially a frame should handle how the specification fit and discussions imply!

I hope all this helps makes some sort of sense, just post if you'd like anything else answered.

Gibt es von Ferrous eigentlich eine Homepage oder so ???

No homepage yet but if you email Raoul Morley using this address ([email protected]) or [email protected] He will be sure to help.

I belive that Germany has taken delivery of it's first Ferrous now. Neils has had a custom Foco tubed frame built and it looks fantastic. With his permision I will post the pictures of the frame here.
