HI!

I am from croatia and i dont speak german so i will try to explain in english...

I wish to know about torque 3 in generall... especial how rear shock works on this frame... I think i will buy torque but dont know which size to choose, my height is 189cm (82kg), i was thinking about 18,5" or 20"...

And last question is how would you compare it with last year model big mountain 2?

Thank you very much

What is your particular concern? In my experince the DHX is a very good suspension element. The rear suspension works linear - that's good for tour and trail but you need to increase the airpressure for drops etc.

...
My guess is Size L as I'm 191 cm and L fits perfect to me. But please confirm this with the Canyon hotline during the ordering process. In my opionion they do a good job.

as I do not have a BM - I do't know.

You find Torque pictures in the gallery of Richi2000 and myself in this forum.

Hey shookre,

My bodylenght is about the same like yours 189cm and i drive the torque 2 in L.
I wasn't shure between L and XL. I think the XL would do a good job for me too, but i had no Problems with the L so far.

I think canyon will recomend you the L too, as they did with me.

I really like my torque 2. Hope you will have great fun with yours.

thanx for your answers!

Now i must decide which bike to buy... torque 3 or big mountain 2 2005 model... So if there is anybody who have this bike or know something about it... please tell me, which one is more pedallable (Big M2. have sherman breakout plus 130-170, and swinger 4way shock), better for uphills, downhills, drops ?

I would suggest to buy the torque. afaik the bm did not sell very well (not versatile enough for the target group). The torque is more popular because of its better uphill qualities.
Last but not least, it is the reason that the bm series ist not built anymore.

Interesting thing is the weight which is almoust same on both bikes(bm2 300g lighter, and has a trevel adjuster on fork)... you mean that bm is not suitable for upphills because of frame geometry? ... Is torque cappable for 1.5-2 (2,5)m drops with right adjustet shock?
