Back from skiurlaub, Strive M Race 7.0 fits me great, 176cm/83 SL. It would be a mistake to order S. Didn't have the time to test it yet, however, I spent quite some time on suspension setup.
Monarch plus RC3 needs A LOT of air. I am 63kg and need over 210 psi pressure to get 25% sag. Forks need 50 psi for 25% sag. How much do you guys fill up your Monarch?
Now I need some help. As described several times in this thread the ShapeShifter is VERY slow when returning in XC mode. I did the following:
- extended the "Bowdenzug" with adjustment nut on the handlebar to the Max (unscrewed to Max.)
- Set pressure when in DH mode to 15 bar.
Shifting did improve a little, but still I have a feeling that when pressing the ShapeShifter lever, air spring in shapshifter is not fully open and moves too slow, so I have to completely unload the rear wheel several times in order do bring it back to XC mode. Is there any way to shorten the cable even more? When pumping air in Shapshifter, I followed the instructions on how to properly attach the pump adapter. Still I have a feeling that a lot of air escapes when I am unscrewing the adapter. Is it possible that a lot of pressure is lost when I am unscrewing the pump adapter?
I might as well fill up the Shifter to 18 bar as switching in DH mode is easy even if the pressure is high....
