SYRE Punkcake Gravel - codename "SCEN[A]RIO #1" (free review sample)

Hi,
we are a young company and of course our goal is finding dealers in different countries. One more thing we are looking after is finding local workshops which would assemble bikes for those customers who are not able to do it by themselsves or simily don't want to.
However, now that we don't have dealers yet, whatever happens with your frameset you can contact us directly and we try to see what happened and/or give some advise distantly. If you suspect this is a warranty case, you send us your frameset and we analyze the problem at out production. In case the fault is ours we substitute the frame without any problem. We are building a fair business.
But yes, we are looking for local partners, so if you know any please advise.

Cheers,
Dmitry

I wonder where all the money comes from to start and finance such a project as a young team?
See in the neighbouring thread how, for example, the guys from basic-bikes are trying to get their project off the ground, which is incredibly difficult as a young new investor (unless you were born with a golden spoon in your mouth....😉).

One thing is sure: this is really hard, especially when pandemics, lockdowns and wars follow one after another for two years in a row. None of us was born with a golden spoon, we are just treading through the daily grind, sweating it out. And we still exist only because we are self confident, we make a really cool product we believe in, and - despite everything - we sell it and people buy it. That's the whole secret.

We are working on price issue.
May I ask how many hours does it take to make such a frame? I really mean taking out the mold out of the shelf, puttin in the carbon layers, ... , till you can finally pack it for shippment.

I can imagine that this takes 16-24 hours? So basically 2-3 working days (assuming you work 8h a day).

I'm afraid your estimation is rather wrong. The whole process from A to Z performed consequently by just 1 man 8 hours a day 5/7 requires about 2,5 weeks. If the process is performed by several people the lead time is shorter but still far from 2-3 working days.

OK, thanks for that information. Interesting to know, much more than I have expected.

Sowas kostet im Vergleich ja kaum was.

We are working on price issue.
I wish you luck with your business. Maybe the market is way bigger than I think, I don't know. I'm just saying that the price seems pretty brutal for a new company.
There is a well known high-end bike shop that also has a podcast and a pretty big youtube channel. It's called enjoyyourbike. Maybe shoot them an email and ask their opinion. Maybe they'd be willing to a review.

Ok, may I ask you in plain English:
How has the war affected your pricing for EU costumers?
The war has affected us: logistics became much more complicated, costs are growing, some of our guys had to move abroad to avoid being sent to kill people, so now we are in lack of staff, and so on, and so on. Despite all this we don't raise prices but keep pricing as before.

Thank you for your wish mate! As I said before, since we started pandemic, lockdowns, war and sanctons followed one after another and in such conditions it's like rowing against the wind, but we started it and we are going to survive. As we grow pricing policy surely will be revised and of course we have special dealership prices, so thank you for the advise, I will contact enjoyyourbike and see what we can do together. Any other ideas are welcome! Again, thank you!

"Syre appreciation thread"?

Also für Herstellerforen/ Herstellerunterbereich (vom Hersteller blubb betreut etc)

This is not your problem, honey!
