Ich gucke auch schon mit einem Auge auf einen 20er für unsere Tochter, mit dem Naloo 16er kommt Sie super zurecht, tritt nur ganz schon viel, wo man denkt, jetzt ein paar Gänge mehr wären gut!

Tja, 20er sind doch größer als gedacht, was gerade so ging und auch fahrbar war,

I will probably change the pedals as they’re huge and the front brake line will be shortened as well

The derailleur, bar and stem were in the part box in my garage, but I definitely need to upgrade to a proper red stem!

Außerdem BMC Twostroke 20 ungefedert.

I want to do the same for our 7yr old son, also with the BXT Frame. My only consider is the Fork.
Can't find a suitable Fork in 24" so the Idea was 26" but my wifes Brother told me it's not good for the hole geometry of the Bike and the steering head. (He's was a Pro, and is a trained Bicycle Mec.)

What would you say?
How much travel on the REBA?
It's much easier to find a 26" for less money.

Do you have some more pics?

Now he's riding on a 24" SPECIALIZED Hard/Hard but that's not the best Option in WINTERBERG etc.

Yeah I had the same concern, but I calculated the ha based on the Reba size compared to a 24 and the difference was very low.
On bxt website you can see that the bike is given for 80-120mm, the Reba I chose is 100mm, the difference with a 24 120mm will be close to zero, honestly the bike rides fine and my kid is really happy. The full lockout on shock and fork is good also, as it’s his only bike and he does a lot xc, not only down sections.

Reba 26 on rcz this morning! I took one for my other son, too young today to ride a 24, but next year I think I’ll have to do a second one

Bei den 20" Dirtbikes habe ich noch etwas Neues entdeckt:

Tiny Rock bietet mit dem Bullet ebenfalls ein 20" Dirtbike an.
Habe ich in die Liste mit aufgenommen, auch wenn es aktuell ausverkauft ist.

So, da uns die 24" Thematik aktuell akut beschäftigt und es auch im Forum letzthin mehrere Beratungsanfragen bzgl. 24-er Bikes gab (z. B. hier, hier und hier) habe ich die Liste im ersten Beitrag dieses Threads noch mal aktualisiert:

• Ein paar Bikes wurden aktualisiert (Propain Yuma, Commencal Clash), da es mittlerweile neuer Modelle mit einigen Unterschieden gibt.
• Es sind neue Bikes hinzugekommen, die ich vorher noch nicht auf dem Plan hatte: Transition Ripcord, Eightshot Groot 246 sowie der BXT 24" Rahmen, der in diesem Thread schon mal gezeigt wurde und im Nachbar-Thread aufgebaut wird.
• Ich habe die Kategorisierung der Bikes ergänzt, wo ich sie auf die Schnelle gefunden habe oder kannte.

Das Yuma 4 ist im Vergleich zum Vorgänger günstiger geworden, hat dafür nur noch 130/130 Federweg (vorher 140/140) und ist nicht mehr auf 26" umrüstbar - beim Yuma 4 gibt es ein separates 26" Modell.

Das Commencal Clash ist mit dem 2025-er Modell zwar ~1,3 kg leichter geworden, hat aber bei der Ausstattung eingebüßt: Kein Dropper mehr verbaut, Tektro Bremse statt Hayes Dominion, Microshift statt SRAM GX.

Das Transition hatte ich vorher noch nicht auf dem Plan, ich finde es aber mit einem Gewicht von 13,6 kg auch nicht so richtig attraktiv.
Das Groot von Eightshot macht einen soliden Eindruck und ist 24"/26" umbaubar.

Mit dem Carbon-Rahmen von BTX kann man - so man weder Kosten noch Mühen scheut - vermutlich das leichteste 24" Fully aufbauen. Der oben verlinkte Aufbau liegt bei gerade mal 10,5 kg, was deutlich unter den Bikes von der Stange liegt.

Hab den Rahmen allerdings noch nicht einzeln gefunden, würde sich mit einer freundlichen Anfrage aber bestimmt regeln lassen.

Hab grad mal geschaut, Reach, Stack, LW und SW sind gar nicht soo weit vom 20er Moritz weg.
Das Tretlager ist allerdings ziemlich hoch.

Der Aufbau auf dem Foto mit dem langen Vorbau, dem Spacerturm und dem enormen Sattelauszug ist aber auch eher merkwürdig.

BXT gibt das Rad auch von 120-145() an.

Mein Bedarf an 20“ ist allerdings gedeckt, von daher bin ich da eh raus.

Habe ich mit aufgenommen - sowohl Rahmen als auch Gesamtbike.

Ich denke aber, dass es schon alleine aufgrund des Preises (u. a. wegen der hohen Versandkosten) eher uninteressant sein dürfte.
1.9k EUR für das Gesamtbike (davon 322,- EUR Versandkosten) finde ich für Ali Express (und damit verbundenen Herausforderungen bzgl. Gewährleistung/Garantie/Ersatzteile) zu viel. Da dürften die meisten eher zu den gängigen Alternativen greifen.
Der Rahmen liegt inkl. Versand bei ~650,- EUR. Wäre spannend das mal durchzurechnen bei welchem Gesamtgewicht und -preis man da herauskäme.

Ob sich das dann lohnt, auch im Hinblick auf

schaue ich mir mal an, danke!
Klingt als Mullet erst mal eher groß, wobei die Angabe 130-145 cm durchaus in die Liste passen könnte. Das Gewicht von 14,5 kg ist dabei aber schon am oberen Ende. Da liegt nur noch das Bergamont Big Air Tyro drüber (und das kommt im Gegenzug mit 160 mm Federweg vorne wie hinten).

Ansonsten fehlt bei 24" eigentlich noch das Meekboyz Beast.
Da bezweifle ich aber ob des Preises die Praxisrelevanz.
Wobei wir schon eins in freier Wildbahn gesehen haben.
