ich glaub Ihm gefällt es,

Recieved my damper today, fuarrrk yeah!

Still waiting on a mail from Ethan about the top pivot's air valve, I think it's for the IFP.

EDIT 2: The cap on the pivot/top boss is for the IFP, DO NOT TOUCH IT IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING! You can mess up the strut's internals badly if you run 0 IFP pressure!

Next on my list to get this month: replacing or powder coating the bars+top crown in black as the raw really clashes with the anodised everything on the bike. Also some new tires, planning on getting some Hans Dampfs but if anyone has some good suggestions (26 inch and tubeless are a must, I mostly ride dry trails or urban) let me know.

6805, just replaced mine too. Same bearings as those from Shimano BBs btw.

ich hätte eine Frage zum Dämpfer..... das müsste ein ML7.0 sein. Zumindest nach der Wartungsanleitung von Maverick

1. ist das normal das in dem "Attachement Boss" eine Inbus Schraube ist?

ich dachte da kommt die "Adjuster Rod" raus, damit das Drehrad auch eine Funktion hat. Ist das normal???
2. wenn ich den Dämpfer zusammengebaut habe und anfange Luft zu pumpen fliegt der Einstellknopf durch die Gegend.... ich denke das gehört so nicht.... was mach ich falsch???

I never had a ML7.0 damper but that hex bolt looks like it keeps the boss with the rod together.

You mean the pin that sticks out? That looks like for the rebound adjuster.

Dann müsste die Einstellschraube allerdings oben am Dämpfer sein. Kann es sein, dass da rumgebastelt wurde!?

That is VERY odd....

The bottom picture is correct, with the silver rod that can pressed upwards that activates the rebound.

the "Bolt" is wrong and will not function correctly...

Ja, es sieht wohl so aus als ob jemand gebastelt hat....
ich werde mir wohl so eine Luft Applikator Nadel basteln und die Schraube mal entfernen und das Ding zerlegen....

Just got a mail back from him, this was his response:

"They use the same base cap on both sides.."

Makes perfect sense to me! AKA: you don't have to touch it or anything, it's only a dummy valve. they did this to cut costs.

Hey now i'm thinking about it: wouldn't it be possible to make a Dual Air DUC this way?

Ethan should still have the Palo upgrade kit but don't pin me on it.

Welcome to the nuthouse btw. You'll start with a Palomino and you probably want a Durance or ML8 later!

EDIT: Or you MIGHT be able to machine a ML7.5 Monolink instead.
