Ein erfolgreiches Freeride-Jahr liegt nun fast hinter uns – mit 34 FMB-Events in 13 Ländern ist der Kalender der FMB World Tour so groß wie nie gewesen und auch 2013 wird es wieder jede Menge spannende Events geben.
Die Veranstaltungen sind jedoch nicht nur auf große Sponsorennamen beschränkt – theoretisch wie praktisch können auch kleinere Organisatoren einen FMB-Event aufstellen. Wie das geht?

Die Events können in allen vier Kategorien ausgerichtet werden: Diamond, Gold, Silver und Bronze.
# Beispiel für ein gelungenes Bronze-Event: Die Urban Bike Challenge in Westendorf
Während die publikumswirksameren größeren Events natürlich ein wenig bis weitaus mehr finanziellen und organisatorischen Aufwand erfordern, könnten insbesondere die kleineren Bronze-Events für den ein oder anderen Veranstalter interessant sein – die Eventgebühr beträgt beim kleinsten FMB-Event 200 €.

Der Anmeldeschluss für Diamond-, Gold- und Silver-Events ist der 30. November 2012, die Bronze-Events können bis 3 Monate vor Eventtermin angemeldet werden. Wir sind gespannt, was wir 2013 für Events erwarten dürfen!

FMB World Tour event applications 2013 now open
Munich, October 31st 2012 – The FMB World Tour 2012 was a huge success with the largest event calendar ever: a total of 34 events spread out across 13 Nations. The Freeride Mountain Bike Association (FMBA) is looking forward to continue this success in 2013 and opens the event applications for the fourth FMB World Tour season today. All freeride mountain bike events around the globe can apply to be part of this rapidly progressing sport and profit from the unique benefits of the FMB World Tour.
The FMBA is already working hard on taking the 2012 momentum into 2013 to make the tour even bigger and better. The disciplines of dirt jump, big air, slopestyle and big mountain have shown great progression and with the FMB World Tour as their backbone we aim to keep the drive going forward by increasing the number and standard of events.
If you wish to enter an application for the 2013 calendar, please visit the FMB World Tour website. Event applications for Diamond, Gold and Silver events should be submitted by November 30th 2012. Bronze event applications can be submitted up to 3 months prior to the scheduled event date. So don’t delay in making your event part of the FMB World Tour – join us and become a part of this rapidly developing sport.
FMB World Tour events are categorized into 4 level categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond. Using a finely tuned points system the FMBA categorize events based on their individual qualities and potential.
